It’s unfortunate but it seems that PokerStars & Full Tilt Poker can’t go a few months without running into some major issues. The latest issue being that the New Jersey Gaming Enforcement Division is still mulling over the decision to provide Amaya Gaming owned poker firms PokerStars & Full Tilt a gambling license.
The reasoning for this is because the previous owners of PokerStars & Full Tilt operated in a less than honorable manner which gave these two poker firms a horrible reputation throughout the United States. The previous owners stole millions upon millions, the US Federal Government themselves sued the previous poker firm owners. This should be wavered though as Amaya Gaming, the new owners have never once over stepper their boundaries. Throughout their time as a company they’ve always operated honorably which is the only reason that this gambling license is even being considered in the first place.
As of now Amaya Gaming is confident that they’ll receive their NJ Gambling License, this is why they’ve already entered a pre-determined partnership deal with “Resorts Casino Hotel”. This deal is only contingent if Amaya is able to receive their gambling license. If this license is approved then PokerStars will stand as the largest poker firm operating in the United States of America.
Thousands of citizens in New Jersey are awaiting for the poker platform to become a reality in their state as well for the fact that for the last decade they’ve been withdrawing from one of the best poker experience in the world.
