Single Games are played for a certain amount per point the players agreed upon before playing.
At FatBetPoker, the international standard Jacoby Rule is in effect: You can only win or lose a double or triple game if the Cube has been turned at least once in that game.
Other rules are optional (both players have to agree before the start of a game):
Automatic doubles - if both players roll the same number on the first roll, the cube goes to 2 but still stays in the center. This is limited to one automatic double per game.
Beavers - when a player doubles, the other player has the choice of taking the cube and turning it to the next level immediately, but still owning it. For example if your opponent doubles to 2, you could take the cube on 4.
At FatBetPoker, backgammon single games are played using the concept of table stakes. Both players bring a certain amount of money to the table. This amount changes during the session due to wins and losses.
In any given game you can only win or lose the amount you have currently at the table. If, for example, you play for €1 per point and you have €5 at the table , the maximum you can win or lose is €5, even if your opponent has €15 at the table.
This is a fair policy for all, neither player will be at a disadvantage just because of the amount of money he has.
